Florasoul – Plant Booster – Seaweed Flakes
Preparation of the liquid plant booster: ready to use, stock solution and foliar spray

Before treating plants or soil, the Florasoul Seaweed Extract Flakes need to be diluted in fresh water. After preparation, the liquid plant booster should be used within a couple of days for best results. Storage time of the liquid seaweed can be extended by using distilled or rain water and keeping it in a cold and dark place.
In general the powder needs to be diluted with water about 1500-2000 times. It is also possible to prepare a concentrated stock solution for bigger areas in the garden or water tanks for automatic irrigation systems, such as drip irrigation.
The liquid seaweed fertilizer can be applied in hydroponic systems, irrigation water, as foliar spray or in substrate, such as puffed clay, rock wool, coconut substrate or deep water culture. The nutrients are immediately available for the plants. In soil, the availability is dependent on the physico-chemical property of the soil and might be delayed up to one week.
Preparation of the liquid fertilizer
We recommend the following mixture for soil fertilization as well as foliar fertilization:
1 gal of water: ¾ tsp SEAWEED flakes / 1 teaspoon SEAWEED flakes per 5l of water
3 gal of water: ¼ tbsp SEAWEED flakes / 1 tablespoon SEAWEED flakes per 10l of water
Tips for foliar fertilization
Foliar fertilization is often underestimated, although it is quite effective. Foliar fertilization is particularly suitable during the flowering and fruiting phase. During this time, the root activity of the plants decreases and nutrients are increasingly distributed within the plant. Some nutrients are firmly bound in the plant structures and cannot be transferred to the flowers and fruits. Foliar fertilization during the flowering and fruiting phase promotes the formation of healthy and magnificent fruit, full of color and flavor. Our Plant Boosters also act like a natural protective shield on the leaves of the plants. This increases resistance to diseases and pests.
Attention:
The Florasoul Plant Booster colors the water dark brown. When used indoors, the plants should be sprayed in the shower or on the balcony/garden to avoid possible discoloration on bright fabrics. Stains on the leaves can be wiped off if necessary.
