2. When and why do we collect your data?

2.1 Access data

Every time you use our website, we collect the access data that your browser automatically transmits to enable you to visit the website. The access data include in particular:

IP address of the requesting device
Date and time of the request
Address of the website accessed and the requesting website
Information about the browser used and the operating system
Online IDs (e.g. device IDs, session IDs)

The collection of this access data is necessary to enable the website to be visited and to ensure the long-term functionality and security of our systems. This access data is temporarily stored in internal log files for the purposes described above (usually 24 hours). To compile statistical information about the use of our website, to further develop our website with regard to the usage habits of our visitors (e.g. if the proportion of mobile devices with which the pages are accessed increases) and to generally maintain our website administratively, we store anonymized and aggregated data. The legal basis is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, Letter b of the GDPR.

The information stored in the log files does not allow any direct conclusions to be drawn about your person. (This would only be possible with a judicial search warrant from your internet provider.)

You have various options for contacting us. In this context, we process data exclusively for the purpose of communicating with you. The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR. This data transmitted to us will be automatically deleted after your request has been fully processed, unless we still need your request to fulfill contractual or legal obligations.

2.3 Registration in the online shop

You have the option of registering for our login area in the online shop in order to be able to use the full functionality of our website. Which data is collected in each case can be seen from the respective input forms. We have highlighted the data you are required to provide by marking them as mandatory fields. Registration is not possible without this data. The legal basis for processing is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

2.4 Order in the online shop

In the case of an order process, we collect the mandatory information required to process the contract:

In order to fulfill the contract, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods ordered. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the ordering process, we pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the selected payment service.

We use various service providers to process payments (PayPal, Klarna). We only transmit the data required for processing in encrypted form (https-only, S / MIME, TLS).

If we make advance payments, e.g. B. when purchasing on account, we reserve the right to obtain identity and credit information from specialized service companies – CRIF Bürgel GmbH, Radlkoferstrasse 2, 81373 Munich – in order to safeguard our legitimate interests, or the granting of certain payment modalities is dependent on the implementation of a credit check close. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. A corresponding unsubscribe link can be found in every newsletter. A message to the contact details given above or in the newsletter (e.g. by email or letter) is of course also sufficient. The legal basis for processing is your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

3. Passing on your data

4. Why does this website use cookies?

5. Use of cookies and comparable techniques for analysis purposes

We also use cookies and similar technologies for advertising purposes. Some of the access data generated when using our website is used for interest-based advertising. By analyzing and evaluating this access data, it is possible for us to present you with personalized advertising on our website and on the websites of other providers. That means advertising that matches your real interests and needs.

The legal basis for the data processing described in the following section is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in providing you with personalized advertising.

However, the data collected is only stored under a pseudonym, so that no direct conclusions can be drawn about the persons.
In the following descriptions of the technologies we use, you will find information on how to object to our analysis and advertising measures using a so-called opt-out cookie. Please note that after deleting all cookies in your browser or later using a different browser and / or profile, an opt-out cookie must be set again.

In the following we describe the possibilities of objection for our analysis and advertising measures. Alternatively, you can exercise your objection by making the appropriate settings on the Truste, NAI, DAA or Your Online Choices websites, which provide bundled options for objection from many advertisers. These pages allow the listed providers to deactivate all advertisements at once using opt-out cookies or, alternatively, to make the settings for each provider individually.

5.1 Google (Universal) Analytics

 This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze and improve our website based on your user behavior. The data arising in this context can be transmitted by Google to a server in the USA for evaluation and stored there. In the event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield. However, your IP address will be shortened before the usage statistics are evaluated so that no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. For this purpose, Google Analytics has been expanded to include the “anonymizeIP” code on our website in order to ensure that IP addresses are recorded anonymously. Google will process the information obtained through the cookies in order to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for the website operator and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

5.2 Google AdWords conversion tracking

Our websites use the “AdWords Conversion Tracking” and “AdWords Remarketing” services from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). By means of “AdWords Conversion Tracking”, customer actions defined by us are recorded (such as clicking on an ad, page views, downloads) and analyzed. We use “AdWords Remarketing” to show you individualized advertising messages for our products on partner websites of Google. Both services use cookies and similar technologies for this. The data arising in this context can be transmitted by Google to a server in the USA for evaluation and stored there. In the event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield

If you use a Google Account, depending on the settings stored in the Google Account, Google can link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account and use information from your Google Account to personalize ads. If you do not want this assignment to your Google account, you must log out of Google before calling up our contact page.

6. Use of functions from other providers

6.1 Conversion measurement and website customer audiences with the Facebook pixel

We use the Facebook pixel or visitor action pixel from Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (hereinafter: Facebook) on our website. By calling up this pixel via your browser, Facebook can subsequently recognize whether a Facebook advertisement was successful. This is the case, for example, when a purchase is concluded on a website. For this purpose, we only receive statistical and anonymized data from Facebook without reference to a specific person. This enables us to record the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and to improve our offer.

We also use the Facebook pixel for the “Website Custom Audiences” function. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the website, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or their use by Facebook. We can only select which segments of Facebook users (such as age, interests) our advertising should be displayed. We use one of two Custom Audiences working methods in which no data records, in particular no e-mail addresses of our users – neither encrypted nor unencrypted – are transmitted to Facebook.

Through the pixel graphic, Facebook receives the information from your browser, among other things, that our site has been accessed by your device. If your browser allows cookies and you do not participate in the opt-out procedure, Facebook creates a cookie to recognize you. If you are logged into Facebook or log in later, the data can be assigned to your Facebook account, whereby personal data is processed.

The storage of Facebook pixels is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in showing the user tailored offers. This against the background of user-relevant advertising.

6.2 Embedded Youtube Videos

The legal basis is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, Letter f GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in the integration of video and image content.

When you visit our website, YouTube and Google receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This happens regardless of whether you are logged in to YouTube or Google or not. YouTube and Google use this data for advertising, market research and the needs-based design of their websites. If you visit YouTube on our website while you are logged into your YouTube or Google profile, YouTube and Google can also link this event to the respective profiles. If you do not want the assignment, it is necessary that you log out of Google before calling up our website.

As shown above, you can configure your browser so that it rejects cookies, or you can prevent the collection of the data generated by cookies and related to your use of this website and the processing of this data by Google by changing the Google settings for advertising Deactivate the button “Personalized advertising on the web”. In this case, Google will only display non-individualized advertising.

YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art.

6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO dar.

6.3 Google Maps

Our website uses the map service Google Maps from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). So that the Google map material we use can be integrated and displayed in your web browser, your web browser must connect to a Google server, which can also be located in the USA, when you call up the contact page. In the event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield. This provides Google with the information that the contact page of our website has been accessed from the IP address of your device. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit.f GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in integrating a map service for establishing contact.
If you call up the Google map service on our website while you are logged into your Google profile, Google can also link this event to your Google profile. If you do not wish to be assigned to your Google profile, you must log out of Google before calling up our contact page. Google stores your data and uses it for advertising, market research and the personalized presentation of Google Maps. You can object to this data collection by Google.

7. When will your data be deleted?

In principle, we only store personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill contractual or legal obligations for which we have collected the data. We then delete the data immediately, unless we still need the data until the expiry of the statutory limitation period for evidence purposes for claims under civil law or due to statutory retention requirements.

For evidence purposes, we have to keep contract data for three years from the end of the year in which the business relationship with you ends. Any claims become statute-barred after the statutory limitation period at the earliest at this point in time.

Even after that, we still have to save some of your data for accounting reasons. We are obliged to do so because of legal documentation obligations that may result from the Commercial Code, the Tax Code, the Banking Act, the Money Laundering Act and the Securities Trading Act. The periods specified there for the retention of documents are two to ten years.

8. What data protection rights do you have?

You have the right to request information about the processing of your personal data by us at any time. As part of the provision of information, we will explain the data processing to you and provide an overview of the data stored about your person.

If the data stored by us is incorrect or no longer up-to-date, you have the right to have this data corrected.

You can also request the deletion of your data. If, in exceptional cases, deletion is not possible due to other legal provisions, the data will be blocked so that they are only available for this legal purpose.

You can also restrict the processing of your data, e.g. B. if you are of the opinion that the data we have stored is incorrect. You also have the right to data portability, i. H. that we will send you a digital copy of the personal data you have provided on request.

9. Right of withdrawal and objection

According to Article 7 (2) GDPR, you have the right to revoke your consent to us at any time. As a result, we will no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent up to the point of withdrawal.
